Museum Knoblauchhaus and the Galeria Kaufhof

Today we went to the old part of Berlin where original buildings from the 19th century still stand, and where they sell gimmicky traditional German things.

Here I am on one of the main streets. Yes, it's still snowing.
This store had almost as many Hummels as Grandma! haha

This is the Museum Knoblauchhaus, where we went on a field trip for German class. It is one of the few houses that survived the world wars, and is complete with original furniture and artwork of the Nnoblauch family.
Our assignment for class is to write descriptions of the items in each room.
Chelsea on the spiral staircase!
A weird old dress and creepy taxidermic cat.
This is the family's bead kit, isn't it awesome? The women did all the beading on the items to the right themselves.
