I am finally in Berlin! I can't believe that this is actually happening. I had to travel for hours and hours: 10 hour plane ride to Heathrow, 2 hour plane ride to Berlin, customs (my first stamp in my new passport!), a 30 minute bus ride to the train station, a 30 minute train, and then an above ground trolly. I am staying with Chelsea's friend's family in Berlin "as far East as you can go." The family made us a wonderful meal of chicken and potatoes, and now we are going to bed early. Tomorrow we meet at the FU-BEST center at the Freie Universitat, then I will move in to my apartment. How exciting!!
p.s. There is snow EVERYWHERE
