I had the best weekend in Prague! It is a beautiful city with so much history. We arrived on Friday night after a four hour bus ride. I borrowed my friend's huge backpack...do you like the body straps? haha
This was our first view of Old Town Square. Our hotel was only two blocks away!
The next morning we woke up early for a free walking tour of the city.
This is Old Town Square during the day. There was an old-fashioned fair in the middle that sold Czech food and hand made crafts, just like back in the day.
This is in New Town Square, where all the shops are.
The building on the left is the oldest Synagogue in Europe. It was spared by Hitler during the Nazi era for the twisted purpose of becoming a museum after all the Jews were exterminated.
Here we are at the end of our tour with the Praha Castle in the background.
The view from the bridge was amazing!
This was our hilarious Scottish tour guide. Since the free tour tour-guides work off of tips, they tend to be a lot more fun and interesting than those that cost money.
Here we are at a different angle with the bridge and castle behind us. We made the boys take sooo many pictures of us!
There were a billion puppet stores with puppets almost as creepy as yours, mom!
We ate the sausages at the Old Town Square fair three times that weekend! They were really cheap and extremely delicious haha
These traditional pastries were cooked around a hot poker.
I didn't buy these pants, but we had fun shopping.
The last morning we woke up and walked to the castle. These next few pictures are of us on the bridge.
We walked all the way to the top of the hill where the castle spires are. It was far but totally worth it!
Here is the view from the top! Prague is known for its multitude of churches and spires.
This cathedral is inside the courtyard of the castle.
